Daniel “Dan” J. Winkler, 78 of Henderson, NV,  formerly of Temperance, Michigan, went home with the angels November 6, 2014.  Born November 9, 1935, to Clemance & Julia Winkler. He was a graduate of Bedford High School.  A Korean War Vet who served 8 yrs. in the U.S. Air Force he was a Parts manager for several local Ford dealerships for 30 years.  Dan also enjoyed calling Bingo for various organizations in the Toledo & Monroe area.  He was also a post Commander & lifetime member of The Lynn C. Weeman American Legion Ida Post 514 after moving to Henderson.  In 2004 he became a Texas Holdem Dealer at Club Fortune & The Jokers Wild until 2012.  Dan is survived by his loving wife Linda (Elston) Winkler, daughters, Cathy Lynn Hall of Oregon,  Connie (Scott) McCuddy, Renee (Jerry) Stephens, Kathy Winkler, all of Toledo.  Sons, Ron (Barb) Winkler of Toledo, Daniel J. Winkler, II of Arizona, Jim (Angel) Sherman of Temperance, MI. Brothers Stanley (Georgia) Winkler of Blissfield, MI.  Joseph (Rosie) Winkler of Sand Spring, OK.  Sisters Roseanne Williamson & Bernadette Morales both of Converse, TX. 35 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews.  Dan is preceded in death by 3 brothers & 2 sisters.  There will be a celebration of his life at a later date. Memorials may be made to The Lynn C. Weeman American Legion Post 514, 11061 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI 48182.
